Charlie Whyman- B2B Digital Marketer specialising in LinkedIn
Imagine an engineering student trying to sell artisan olive oil on a market stall in Yorkshire by enthusiastically talking about the growing, pressing and bottling process......as shocking as it sounds no one cared yet somehow Charlie ended up in a sales and marketing role selling high-end laser scanning solutions around the world.
Fast forward 15 years and Charlie now spends her time consulting, coaching and mentoring teams and individuals on strategic B2B Marketing and LinkedIn. She is also the host of The Curiosity Key Podcast and founder of The Curious Marketing Club, an avid F1, rowing and olympic weightlifting fan and struggles to turn down a challenge.
Trevor Lorkings aka The Digital Alchemist
Launching a food business in 2009, Trevor and wife Rosemary built a community around jam and preserve making, with workshops, recipe books and an online recipe site and blog. Latterly, a monthly preserving magazine, in both digital & paper formats, came shortly afterwards and the business fluctuated over the years - then hit lock-down!
Four months on the couple have quadrupled their monthly turnover and it’s not slowing down- Hear Trevor and Rosemary's story 'jam-packed' full of inspiration (sorry), plus Trevor happens to be a 'digital alchemist', specialising in the development of e-commerce websites, creative design for print and produces gorgeous notebooks, planners and journals, as well as hosting his podcast 'Curious Fire' alongside Alan Hennessy.
